Epione Health is an informational platform that provides details about medical and wellness service providers (hereinafter “Medical Providers”). The purpose of the platform is to offer users information about Medical Providers, their services, indicative costs, and general resources on popular medical tourism destinations and modern diagnostic and treatment methods.
By using our portal, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the portal.
1. The Epione Health Platform1.1. Epione Health is an informational platform providing data about Medical Providers, their services, and indicative costs.
1.2. The platform is intended for individuals aged 18 and over. A user may, however, use the services on behalf of a third party under 18.
1.3. Information about Medical Providers is based on data provided directly by them or collected from online/offline sources. While Epione Health reviews and updates these details regularly, accuracy, completeness, or timeliness cannot be guaranteed. Epione Health accepts no liability for errors, inaccuracies, or misleading information supplied by Medical Providers.
1.4. Epione Health does not endorse or recommend any particular Medical Provider, nor does it guarantee the quality or qualifications of their services. The platform is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
2. Services Provided by Epione Health2.1. Epione Health provides organisational services, which may be priced separately or as part of a package. A full list of services is outlined in the individual offer made to the patient or client.
2.2. Epione Health does not directly refer a user to a specific Medical Provider but shares potential options for diagnosis, treatment, or rehabilitation based on the user’s needs (including timing, location, and medical indications).
2.3. Epione Health facilitates contact between the user and the Medical Provider. Contracts for medical services are entered into directly between the user and the Medical Provider. Epione Health does not influence medical recommendations.
2.4. Additional organisational services (e.g., travel, logistics) are available at individually calculated rates or within a service package.
Core services include:- Response to inquiries within 24 hours.
- Assistance in selecting a clinic suitable for the condition.
- Fast-track clinic appointments.
- Visa support, including invitation letters from clinics.
- Letters for border control authorities.
- Visa extensions where treatment requires longer stays.
- A dedicated case manager for the entire treatment program.
- Medical consultations with one or more clinics.
- Program coordination by an Epione Health consultant or physician.
- Expense monitoring and refund of unused funds.
- Ongoing medical support for three months after treatment.
- Organisation of transfers and medical transportation.
- Assistance with booking flights and accommodation.
- Medical interpreter/translator support.
3. Responsibilities of the Parties 3.1. User Responsibilities- Provide complete and accurate medical information.
- Follow doctors’ and medical staff recommendations.
- Attend scheduled appointments for diagnosis or treatment.
- Leave the treatment country after the program ends (if not a resident).
3.2. Epione Health Responsibilities- Organise the treatment program and related services.
- Facilitate contact between the user and the Medical Provider.
- Avoid influencing medical advice or doctors’ decisions.
- Bear no responsibility for visa refusals or force majeure events.
4. Cancellation Policy4.1. The user may cancel services at any time without giving a reason. Refunds are subject to the following conditions:
- If cancelled before the program begins, a full refund will be issued minus any incurred costs.
- If cancelled during the program, no refund will be issued.
4.2. Full refund exceptions apply if cancellation is due to:- Medical contraindications (with a doctor’s confirmation).
- Inability to travel (with a doctor’s confirmation).
- Force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, armed conflict).
- Death (with official documentation).
5. Refund Policy5.1. Refunds are processed within 14 days of termination, provided the user supplies correct account details.
5.2. Refunds apply only to services not yet delivered by Epione Health.
5.3. Refunds are made to the original payment account. If this is not possible, an alternative account may be used with written confirmation.
6. Confidential Information6.1. By sharing medical information, the user releases Medical Providers from confidentiality obligations towards Epione Health.
6.2. The user may request deletion of personal data by emailing
contact@epionehealth.co.uk.
6.3. Epione Health will delete personal data promptly upon receiving such a request.
7. Limitation of Liability7.1. Epione Health is an informational platform and is not liable for the quality of medical services provided by Medical Providers.
7.2. Epione Health does not guarantee the accuracy of information supplied by Medical Providers.
8. Intellectual Property8.1. All content on the Epione Health portal is protected by copyright law.
8.2. Copying, publishing, or reusing materials without written permission is prohibited.
9. Force Majeure9.1. Epione Health is not liable for non-performance due to force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, war).
9.2. Affected parties must notify the other within 7 days of such events.
10. Governing Law10.1. Disputes will first be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom where Epione Health is registered.
11. Amendments11.1. Epione Health reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on the website. Users are responsible for reviewing them regularly.
